After the longest night I have known, I finally see the first light of morning — and I walk toward it slowly, but I walk.

This next chapter of mine is still unwritten, and for the first time, that uncertainty doesn't scare me — it feels like freedom.

Even after winter strips a tree bare, the soil remembers the seed — and come spring, it grows again, softer, wiser, alive.

बहुत लंबी थी वो रात जो अभी गुज़री है,
पर आज सुबह की पहली किरण दिखी है,
धीरे सही, मगर अब चलना शुरू हुआ है।

Bahut lambi thi wo raat jo abhi guzri hai,
Par aaj subah ki pehli kiran dikhi hai,
Dheere sahi, magar ab chalna shuru hua hai.

आगे की कहानी अभी अनलिखी है,
पर पहली बार डर नहीं लग रहा,
ये अनजानापन अब आज़ादी सा लगता है।

Aage ki kahani abhi anlikhi hai,
Par pehli baar dar nahi lag raha,
Ye anjaanapan ab azaadi sa lagta hai.

सर्दी में पेड़ चाहे कितना भी सूना दिखे,
मिट्टी को उसके बीज हमेशा याद रहते हैं,
बहार आते ही, फिर से हरियाली लौट आती है।

Sardi mein ped chahe kitna bhi soona dikhe,
Mitti ko uske beej hamesha yaad rehte hain,
Bahaar aate hi, phir se hariyali laut aati hai.
