The hikers spent the first 12 hours of their journey attempting to reach this dog, and in the end, they do something very wonderful for him…

Both Sean McCormack and his buddy Ross Tweedy made the discovery that there was a dog with injured paws living someplace on the mountain.

They immediately set out on a trip that would last them for twelve hours in order to assist the beast.

Someone posted a picture of a dog sitting in what they called its “home,” which was a rusting barrel, on social media. The poster said that the dog lives in the “home” near a private property, but that it is neglected and that the dog’s paws are injured.

In the picture, there was a teeny-tiny puppy that had his paws tucked below him.

McCormack was significantly impacted as a result of this shooting. He called the person who had created it, and they gave him the precise location of the home where the dog was located.

Sandy was the dog, and when he managed to get himself caught in a poacher’s net, both of his paws were injured.

On the other hand, the trail turned out to be so challenging that the only way to get there was by foot.

It was determined that reaching the summit of this mountain would take at least six hours. After that, the total cost will be lowered by the same amount.

Sean was under the impression that climbing the mountain wouldn’t be too difficult, but it ended up being quite the opposite.

When they eventually reached the top of the mountain, the dog was buried so deeply under the plastic chairs that it was difficult to see him at all.

Even though he was afraid of new people, he wiggled his tail in an enthusiastic manner.

As soon as we observed the dog, we were aware that it was our responsibility to assist him. If any of the villagers were hurt by our decision to take him, we didn’t give a damn about it. He came closer to us and placed his head on my knees as he did so. “He seemed to be begging us to hug him,” McCormack explains further.

If the dog had remained on the mountain, McCormack believes that he would have succumbed to the virus that he had contracted.

One of the paws was able to recover, while the other had sustained so severe damage that the bone was visible.

It was clear that applying the bandage to his paw helped him feel a modicum of relief from the pain he had been experiencing.

It was imperative that the dog be rushed to the veterinarian as soon as possible. After being put in the bag, Sandy was questioned about her surroundings.

“He carried on the entire trip as if he were an angel.” He did not whimper, whine, or bark at all throughout the whole interaction. He didn’t say anything.”

After Sandy was finally brought to the veterinarian, the affected regions of both of her front legs had to be amputated due to the severity of the condition.

Sandy’s wounds are healing wonderfully now, and after he has completely healed, they have offered to provide him specialized prostheses to replace his missing limbs.

“He’s doing well now and has already begun playing with the other dogs at the clinic,” the owner said. “He has already begun playing with the other dogs at the clinic.” He is a happy, beautiful, and good-natured dog.”

Following the publication of Sandy’s story on social media, a person in Taiwan was inspired by the dog’s plight and indicated interest in permanently adopting him, despite the dog’s physical limitations.
