Self Introduction Speech to a New Team at Work
Popular Speeches Topics for You.
Hi everyone, I really appreciate you all taking a few minutes out of your morning to let me introduce myself properly. I am Priya, and as most of you probably know by now, I am joining as the new operations coordinator, taking over from Sameer as he moves to the Pune office. Before this, I spent three years at a logistics firm where I handled vendor relationships and supply chain scheduling, so a lot of what I will be doing here builds directly on that experience, though I am sure this team does things a little differently, and I am genuinely eager to learn those differences rather than assume my old playbook fits perfectly. A bit about me personally, I grew up in Nagpur, moved here two years ago, and I am still discovering good food spots around the office, so recommendations are very welcome. I tend to be the person who likes a clear checklist and a calm process, but I also enjoy a good laugh in the middle of a stressful week, because I think that is what actually keeps teams sane during crunch time. I have heard wonderful things about how collaborative this department is, and honestly that is a big part of why I was excited to take this role. I want to be upfront that I will probably ask a lot of questions in my first few weeks, not because I am unsure of myself, but because I would rather understand how things work here than guess and create extra work for everyone. I am also someone who prefers direct conversations over long email chains, so please feel free to just walk up to my desk if something needs sorting out. I am really looking forward to contributing to the projects already in motion, and even more so to getting to know each of you, not just as colleagues but as the people who will make these next few years enjoyable. Thank you for the warm welcome so far, and let us get to work.
