8 要用鍊子 捆 他們的君王,用鐵 鐐 鎖他們的大臣;

What is Psalm 149 about?
It calls Israel to "sing unto the LORD a new song" and praise him "in the dance" with "timbrel and harp" (vv.1-3), because "the LORD taketh pleasure in his people" (v.4).
What is the "two-edged sword" in verse 6 about?
V.6 pairs "the high praises of God" in the mouth of the saints with "a two-edged sword in their hand," describing praise alongside a role in executing judgment on the nations (v.7).
How does the psalm describe the honor given to God's people?
V.9 says, "To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints," closing with "Praise ye the LORD."

The LORD takes pleasure in his people, a delight also described in Psalms 147:11, while the saints are given a two-edged sword to execute judgment. The final psalm of praise, Psalms 150, follows next.
