Teenager, 16, was burned to the third degree after lice shampoo caught fire….

A TEENSAGER sustained burns of the third degree on her face and torso when the lice shampoo she was using on her head caught fire.

Aleema Ali, 16, is from Bradford, England, and is now enrolled in college as a full-time A-level student. However, four years ago, a terrible event irrevocably altered her life.

When Aleema went home from boarding school in December of 2016, she discovered that she had head lice.

She made the decision to treat her head with a medicated shampoo called “Full Marks Solution” in order to eliminate the lice that were present in her hair.

Since Aleema was required to keep the product on for a period of time, she proceeded with her regular activities and assisted her mother in taking the trash cans outside.

While her mother was preparing dinner, she went into the kitchen to get a garbage bag, but she was completely unaware that the substance she was wearing was very flammable.

The whole top of Aleema’s head was quickly engulfed in flames as her hair suddenly caught fire.

Aleema, who had just turned 12 years old at the time of the tragedy, was hastily placed in an ambulance and arrived at the hospital around 10 minutes after the occurrence.

She was put into a coma for a period of two months after being transported to the critical care unit of the hospital.

Aleema recounted the harrowing experience as follows: “I got back from boarding school in December 2016, I had head lice, and I begged my mom to pull them out for me that same night, she placed the medicine into my hair, and then she walked to the kitchen to cook supper. I was terrified.

Burns may be seen on Aleema’s face, head, arms, chest, thighs, stomach, back, and hands. She also has burns on her back.

I walked into the kitchen to go to the trash can, and as I was passing by the medicine cabinet, my hair caught fire since the medication was quite flammable.

“I immediately went into a state of panic and shock, and the only thing that went through my mind was, ‘I’m going to die.'”

“Because I had been in a coma for the previous two months, there was no instant response. They gradually increased the total length of time that I was awake.

Aleema is thankful for the circumstances, despite all of the difficulties, and she claims that the accident has taught her to love herself from the inside out and has transformed her into a person who is more self-assured.

She said that “In a way, I am now glad that this occurred.” Because of that, I’ve evolved into a more wholesome person. My level of self-love and confidence has increased dramatically as of late.

“It’s made a significant improvement in the quality of my life. I used to be lot weaker, less courageous, and less self-assured than I am now.”

Aleema was burned to the third degree on 55% of her body, including her face, head, arms, chest, thighs, stomach, back, and hands. Her wounds also covered her whole back.

Aleema’s injuries have caused her life to be turned upside down, but she claims that they have made her stronger than she was before.

She also had seven fingers amputated, and she can only move two of the remaining digits at this point.

After her injury, Aleema had to go through a difficult and drawn-out process of recuperation over the course of many years. This included undergoing skin graft procedures, wearing specialized clothing, and taking medicine in order to assist her in adjusting to regular day-to-day life.

According to the adolescent of 16 years old, “My recovery was extremely difficult and it is still ongoing.”My daily routine includes the use of nebulizers, humidifiers, pressure garments, splits, lotions, and a variety of medications, among other things.

One of her makeup tutorial films has garnered 15.8 million views, contributing to her overall total of millions of views across all of her videos.
