Hello everyone, and thank you for being part of this special celebration. Today is not really about looking back, though we will do plenty of that. Today is mostly about looking forward, toward all the wonderful things waiting on the other side of this retirement. For so many years, mornings have meant alarms, commutes, and inboxes. Starting tomorrow, mornings can mean whatever you want them to mean. They can mean slow coffee on the porch, a long walk with no destination, or simply staying in bed because you finally can. I have always believed that retirement is not an ending but a wide-open invitation, an invitation to rediscover hobbies set aside during busy working years, to travel to places only dreamed about during lunch breaks, and to spend unhurried time with the people who matter most. Maybe that means finally learning to paint, picking up a fishing rod again, or planning that long trip across the country you have talked about for years. Maybe it simply means more dinners with grandchildren and fewer evenings spent finishing one last email. Whatever shape it takes, you have absolutely earned this freedom. Decades of hard work, early mornings, and quiet dedication have built the foundation for this next chapter, and I, along with everyone in this room, could not be happier for you. May your retirement be filled with laughter, good health, new adventures, and plenty of well-deserved rest. May your calendar be full only of things you actually want to do. And may you look back on your career with pride, knowing it was simply the first wonderful chapter of a remarkable life, not the whole story. Congratulations on this incredible milestone.
