The young man is throwing a party in honor of his father’s just published book.

Levi McConaughey is a devoted son and quite proud of it! On Thursday, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves’ son, who is 15 years old, sent a message on Instagram praising his father’s latest children’s book, which is titled Just Because.

“During the last several years, it has been a lot of fun to keep an eye on my father. “Working on new projects and enjoying success as they are completed,” stated Levi. “It was so cool to see him publish his first book, #GreenLightsBook,” you said on Twitter. “He’s been writing and creating for a while now.”

He proceeded by saying, “Now he’s onto his second book, #JustBecauseBook, and I’m really excited about it,” in reference to Matthew’s book, Greenlights, which will be published in 2020. “I’m really looking forward to seeing what he does next.”

Levi McConaughey is the eldest of the McConaughey children, followed by his sister Vida, who is 13, and his brother Livingston, who is 10. In celebration of his 15th birthday in July, the young man signed up for an Instagram account. During the next month, Levi and Matthew joined together to organize a fundraising effort for Maui in the midst of the horrific wildfires on Maui.

In the month of April, Matthew shared his thoughts on the connection he has with his children.

“We’re just entering those formative years of adolescence. On the podcast titled “Dear Chelsea,” hosted by Chelsea Handler, he added, “That’s an entirely new rollercoaster.” “It’s coming to be that age with [Levi and Vida] when I’m beginning to become their pal a little bit, which is wonderful… We may just converse, in which case I will not be instructing, nor will I be speaking in my capacity as a parent; rather, we will simply be chatting.

“Right away, I picked up on the fact that these teenagers already are who they are. I have the ability to guide and direct them. “Other than that, they are who they are,” he remarked, before observing of his parenting, “I’m not making straight A’s, but I think it’s going pretty well,” My children are very attentive to others. It is my sincere hope that kids will be able to leave the home with their heads held high, knowing exactly who they are and who they are not.
