Mark Consuelos responds to Kelly Ripa’s retirement comments: “She’s having a good time”…

The presenter of ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’ discussed his wife and co-host, as well as their plans for the future, in an interview with ET.

Mark Consuelos is having a great time co-hosting Live with Kelly and Mark with his wife, Kelly Ripa, and he doesn’t foresee their “lovefest” coming to an end any time in the near future. Kelly and Mark have been married for a long time.

Recently, Consuelos discussed his marriage to Ripa as well as their experiences working together as co-hosts on the daytime news talk program with ET’s Nischelle Turner. The conversation took place in the studio of ET.

“Listen, I married someone who was totally out of my league. I’m the luckiest man, I discovered her and I’m thinking ‘I’m holding on for dear life,'” Consuelos imparted the information with a grin. “Let’s just hope she has the same perspective!”

The devoted spouse also responded to comments that Ripa made on the idea of retiring a month ago, in which she said that she has been considering the prospect “with great interest,” but that she does not want to make the significant move just yet.

When asked about the possibility of Consuelos’s wife withdrawing from the public eye on television, Consuelos said, “I think it’s a real thing.” “She’s been working in that field for the past 23 years.”

He continued by saying, “I don’t think it’s going to be anytime soon.” “I’m having a very, really nice time, and I can see that she’s enjoying herself as well. However, at some point in time, yes.”

Consuelos continued by saying, “When she does decide to walk away, no one’s earned it more than her.”

He added, “She’s been working her butt off since she was like 12 or 13 years old, and she got into the business at 18, and so it’s been a long ride.” “She’s been working her butt off since she was like 12 or 13 years old,” he said. “[However], she seems to be having a great time right now.”

He expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm at the opportunity to participate in “something that is such an important part of the fabric of Los Angeles and the Mexican community here.” I am certain that there will be delicious food and enjoyable music, and that I will have a great time.”

In regard to the remarks made by Ripa in August that garnered a great deal of media attention, the veteran television personality recently discussed her plans for the future of her career in an interview with Cristina Cuomo, who writes for the health publication The Purist.

Ripa said at the time, “I think the risk-averse quality I have is probably the reason I stayed with the same job for so long,” and she went on to explain, “I think it’s because I’m a control freak.” “Other opportunities present themselves, but I choose to remain with what I am familiar with. I am extremely consistent in everything that I do, and as a result, when you have me, you have me for the rest of your life.

“Having said that, I don’t intend to work at this job for the rest of my life,” she continued after the previous statement. “I do talk about retirement with a great deal of interest, but right now I’m very happy, especially working with Mark,” the retired man said.
