Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti marks the birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand, born Mool Shankar in Tankara, Gujarat, in 1824, who founded the Arya Samaj in 1875 after fifteen years of wandering in search of spiritual truth.
