It's time to PRAY

The Lord has brought us this far He will not abandon us now. Trust Him.  “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” - 1 John 5:14 

When facing the fear of the unknown, turning to an all-knowing God is a good start to responding with clarity and direction. Choose to pause in the midst of this season and seek God. What is the high call He is asking you to pursue? How can you grow first and foremost in your knowledge of Him? We can Fight and Win ALL our battles on our knees! 

Take a few minutes to pray:

Father, I thank You for calling me in Christ. Thank you for inviting me to press in and know You. Search my heart, God, and expose any motive or desire that does not honor You. Reshape my desires and reset my focus by Your Spirit. I want to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. I set my mind and heart on You. I am seeking you and fixing my gaze on you and not of this world. This life is temporary but a life with you is eternal so I wait patiently for this season of lockdown to pass too. In Jesus’ name, amen. 

In order to achieve the high call of God for our lives, we first must acknowledge the fact that we haven’t yet attained it—that we are not perfected and must continue to pursue, change, and grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. 

I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13–14 

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. - 2 Peter 3:18
