Give it all to God and go to Sleep

Jesus knows exactly what you need, at the exact moment you need it. So use your evening prayer as a way to give thanks to him — especially if it happened to slip your mind earlier in the day. Or, if you’re having trouble falling asleep, say a few words of scripture in the evening to calm yourself down. Soon, it’ll become a nightly routine and you’ll be ready to take on each day and the challenges that come with it. 

Dear Father,

Thank you for holding me together today. I needed you, and you were there for me. Thank you for every bit of love, mercy, and grace that was shown to me though I did not deserve it. Thank you for your faithfulness even in my suffering. Jesus, tender shepherd, hear me. Bless this little lamb tonight. Through the darkness be down near me, Keep me safe till morning light. To you alone be the glory. I pray this Jesus name, Amen. 

So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
