Following his mother’s recommendation, a little boy of four years old calls 911 for assistance…

The majority of employees that work with 911 are regarded modern-day heroes since they immediately react to situations that need assistance and send other people to assist those who are in need. On the other hand, one of the workers received a call that he hadn’t been expecting one day.

In a video that was uploaded to YouTube in 2010 and quickly went viral, a little kid called Johnny, who was only four years old at the time, was struggling with his homework and did what his mother had instructed him to do: he asked for assistance from other people.

When he phoned the number, a 911 operator took his call. The adult on the other end of the line at first speculated that the small boy need assistance with his “mouth,” but the boy maintained that the issue was one of “math” that needed to be handled.

The voice of a little child begged the older man, “Will you help me?” but the dispatcher informed him that he couldn’t do it himself but that he could send someone else to help him out instead. “Will you help me?”

Johnny eventually disclosed that he was required to complete the “take aways,” the first question of which was “16 take away 8.”

He wasn’t given a response by the dispatcher, so she asked him what he believed the right answer was, and he said, “I don’t know, 1.”

When the operator asked if there was another difficulty since the first one was “a tough one,” the small kid said, “5 take away 5.” The operator then inquired if there was another problem because the first one was “a tough one.” Instead of providing him with the answer, the guy repeated what he had done the previous time, which was to question him about his ideas rather than providing him with the solution.

As the child responded with “5,” the background conversation could be heard to include the voice of a lady who seemed to be the child’s mother.

The mother screamed while asking her son, “Johnny, what are you doing?!” When asked by the mother what was bothering him, the small child calmly said, “the policeman is helping me with my math.”

As the mother asked her son, “What did I tell you about going on the phone?” it seemed as if she had previously given her son advice on the use of the telephone.

After some time had passed, Johnny responded to what his mother had instructed him to do in the past, saying, “You said if I needed help to call somebody.”

In the end, the mother said that she never intended for her son to get in touch with the authorities. After then, the audio was interrupted, and it was not obvious whether or not Johnny had the solutions to his arithmetic problems.

After the video was uploaded to the website, people shared their opinions and some really funny responses regarding the recorded phone conversation in the part designated for user comments.

One person said, “I don’t know but the operator was so chill and helpful.” The joker said, “Plot twist = the operator really didn’t know the answers; it was a tough one for him too.”

Imagine getting a call like this while working in such a high-pressure environment. It seems as if the man’s disposition has improved! Someone said that the youngster had an endearingly kind personality. “I really love the courage of the child, the patience and greatness of the operator, and the reaction of the mother,” one person commented. “I really love the reaction of the mother.”

Another respondent identified the most problematic aspect of the conversation, stating in their post, “The worst thing is, he didn’t help him with that math in the end.” One user remarked, “As a mom, grandma, and former 911 dispatcher, I think that’s adorable!”
