Brian Austin Green has some sad news to share about Shannen Doherty and his own struggle, calling it “not an easy situation”…

Because of health problems, “Beverly Hills 90210” actors Brian Austin Green and Shannen Doherty are going through a hard patch. Green has just lately issued an update on the Hollywood couple’s ongoing struggles with their health.

Famous actresses Doherty and Green have remained close friends throughout the years, and Doherty has even given Green credit for being there for her during her fight against a disease that may ultimately prove fatal.

It was claimed in 2020 that she disclosed to “Good Morning America” that an alum from “Desperate Housewives” helped her get through shooting “BH90210” after her cancer diagnosis:

“I had times of great anxiety where I thought, ‘I can’t really do this,’ and Brian was the only person in that group of people who knew, and he was the person that I told pretty quickly,” she said. “I told him pretty quickly.”

Doherty revealed in June 2023 that her cancer had progressed to her brain, at the same time that she posted a video on Instagram showing her getting radiation treatment. She acknowledged to being afraid while also disclosing that she was “extremely claustrophobic.” Despite this, the famous television personality had an upbeat attitude and expressed gratitude to her physicians for their remarkable job.

The native of Tennessee received her first breast cancer diagnosis in the year 2015. Two years later, in 2017, she disclosed that the cancer had gone into remission. In spite of this, Doherty revealed in 2020 that she was now through stage four of her disease.

At the Annual Open Hearts Gala in Beverly Hills in February of the same year, her co-star Green gave an honest assessment on how she was doing, saying:

I don’t want to spend too much time talking about her, but this is a challenging circumstance.

The person who was born and raised in Los Angeles said that it is challenging to cope with the sickness. Doherty was going through a difficult moment at the time, but according to Green, individuals only get stronger when they allow themselves to go through challenging situations.

He referred to her as a “good person,” adding that she was deserving of all the kind wishes and friendships that she had. The TV personality celebrated his 50th birthday in July 2023, and his close friend Doherty, who was 52 at the time, paid homage to him with a touching message on Instagram.

The famous person in the entertainment industry shared photographs on social media of the couple having a nice time with another friend and co-star, Ian Ziering, who portrayed Steve Sanders on the sitcom “BH90210.”

Doherty and Green featured in the adolescent drama series starring Tori Spelling from 1990 through 1994, playing the roles of Brenda Walsh and David Silver, respectively. She reportedly departed the program because of a disagreement that occurred on set, whereas he continued to appear up to the year 2000.

During a recent interview, Green provided an update on Doherty’s status and referred to her as a “incredibly tough person” in light of her ongoing fight against cancer. Green further stated:

“If there is anybody who has the potential to put up a meaningful battle against cancer, she is one of them. Clearly, this is not an easy position to be in.

The star of “Knots Landing” claimed that he maintains consistent communication with Doherty, who is doing her best to make the most out of a difficult circumstance. Green also discussed the struggles he’s had with his own health.

It all started with ulcerative colitis, then it progressed to vertigo, and then it became neurological as he found himself speaking less and less. Green was unable to read or write, as well as speak and walk normally after his accident. He was clean about the fact that he will be unemployed for the next four years. The celebrity, on the other hand, had not been given a formal diagnosis, and everyone only hoped that he would return to his normal self.
