What is Psalm 70 about?
It's a short, urgent prayer for God to hurry and deliver the psalmist, opening "Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD" (v.1).
What does Psalm 70 ask for the psalmist's enemies?
Verses 2-3 ask that those who seek his soul and mock him be turned back in shame and confusion.
How does Psalm 70 end?
It closes with the psalmist calling himself "poor and needy" and asking God, his help and deliverer, to "make no tarrying" (v.5), following Psalms 69.

Nearly identical to the closing verses of Psalms 40:13-17, this psalm contrasts the shame coming to David's enemies with the joy of those who love God's salvation. Psalms 71 picks up the same trust from the perspective of old age.
