What is Psalm 67 about?
It's a short prayer for God's mercy and blessing so that his way may be known on earth and his saving health among all nations (vv.1-2), calling all peoples to praise God.
Why does Psalm 67 want God's way known among all nations?
So that the nations can be glad and sing for joy, since God judges people righteously and governs the nations upon earth (vv.3-4).
How does Psalm 67 end?
It ends with the promise that the earth will yield its increase, God will bless his people, and "all the ends of the earth shall fear him" (vv.6-7).
The psalm closes by tying blessing to harvest, promising that the earth will yield its increase as God blesses His people, an idea also touched in Psalms 4:6. Psalms 68 follows with a much longer hymn of triumph.
